Owls, Birds and more.. Post It Note Holders..

These are the first in the series. I stamped the owl with black ink in a circle and inked the edges around it.

Even though the above owl did look good, something was missing. So I thought to try the embossing after a very long time. This time I stamped the image with pigment ink and sprinkled superfine black embossing powder over it and embossed it with the heat gun. This was the exact look I was going for - much more vibrant and the shiney effect gives the owl just the right edge. The details are not too noticable in these pictures but it looks much more live in real life. Now next step is to try the owls in different colors with different patterns :) More to come in OWL series..


Next are the Birds - one of my favorites and most popular after owls :) I can never have enough of these funky birds..

I was very pleasantly surprised to find my calendar featured in this lovely treasury - Holiday Cheer. I was just browsing through the treasury lists to check the number & expiry time to see if I can curate one myself & came across the little yellow star on the list which means your listing has been featured in this treasury :) Its always nice to find unexpected surprises :)

It is so much fun to feature other talented artist's items on Treasury. I will definitely grab another one whenever I get a chance.

I use Firefox browser and wasn't sure how to take Full Screen shot as the end was getting chopped out with regular F11 screenshot command. I found a cool plug-in called "Fire Shot". It captures entire page and then you can copy/email/upload the page as per your liking. Thought to share it with you all :)

Post It Note Holders

I made couple of Post It Holders in past few days. If you are looking for little somethings for teachers, co-workers, friends or stocking stuffer, these little gems will make perfect gifts. I sold many of these but there is still a great variety available in my shop. I keep adding new designs frequently and if you don't see something but like the idea, I can always take special order :)

Christmas - Vintage Inspired Chipboard Mini Album

Here is a 6" x 6" Chipboard Mini Album that I created using Basic Grey Figgy Pudding papers, and lots of vintage photos/images. There are birds, deers, vintage children photos, pocket pages, tags, machine sewing and so much more in this album. It is available in my shop.
