So yesterday I was just casually checking the stats of my shop at around 1:15PM on majaba.org now craftcult.com ( a site to check Etsy shop and item hearts ) and saw that I had 10 new shop hearts in just one minute so immediately I knew something big had happened. I checked the item hearts and found that the Amy Butler Danmask Post It Holder that I had listed just sometime back had 132 hits.. I knew either someone has put me in Treasury or something but then I never had so many hits even after being featured in a Treasury.. I was wondering and went on Etsy homepage and what I see is that the Danmask Post It Holder is on the Front Page of Etsy. I was over the top and could not believe my eyes!!! I was doing a happy dance :) The page was curated by Admin based on Recently listed items. Here are some screenshots of it :)
Borrowed from Etsy Front Pager's group on Flickr -
Another good thing that happened 2 days back was when I had a Flickr Mail from Angie from Scrapscene.com who wrote to me that she wanted to feature Zebra Print Post It Holder ( the one that I shared with you in the last post ) in one of the articles that she is doing on Scrapbooking Trends. You can checkout the article and other scrapbooking trends on her website at ScrapScene.com.
Today I share with you few Amy Butler Post It Holders available in shop in celebration of making it to Front Page on Etsy :)

Owls, Birds and more.. Post It Note Holders..
These are the first in the series. I stamped the owl with black ink in a circle and inked the edges around it.
Even though the above owl did look good, something was missing. So I thought to try the embossing after a very long time. This time I stamped the image with pigment ink and sprinkled superfine black embossing powder over it and embossed it with the heat gun. This was the exact look I was going for - much more vibrant and the shiney effect gives the owl just the right edge. The details are not too noticable in these pictures but it looks much more live in real life. Now next step is to try the owls in different colors with different patterns :) More to come in OWL series..
Next are the Birds - one of my favorites and most popular after owls :) I can never have enough of these funky birds..
More birds with outline..
These and many more beautiful Post It note holders are available in my shop.
